Why u din't remove stock resonator ? Is there any purpose u left it or it can be removed ?

I think you mean stock ram air scoop not stock resonator. I didnt take it out because I dunno, I didnt.

Yeah, I mean stock ram air scoop So, its no longer needed at all after u installed new intake ?

NO its not longer needed, you can take it off if you want.

I really cant judge that but I read that the Apex-I is better because of flow, but the K&N lasts longer.

I left mine on, because mentally I think theres more air going throught the stock ram scoop and in the arear where the air filter is

I just got that same intake too today at the North East Meet... i love the sound it gives, and i was reachin speeds quicker already. the computer still isn't used to it of course and my gas gauge goes down while im pushin it, but goes back up when i stop. The Frankencar guy told me wait 100 miles b4 he really starts kicking...i got the one wit the blue pipe...ill be puttin up pics by the end of this week...holla

yea dont worry about it...when u drive regularly ive been told by a few companies and people that u actually save gas since the car can "breathe" easier now, so that way its not doing a lot to use its "lungs"...the stock filter is like asthma, so think of yourself as asthma free..

i was also told that u lose gas when you push at high speeds too often. when u race u lose gas anyway so u might as well be quicker while your losing the gas.

wow, GREAT write-up. those directions are WAY better than the hopeless ones on the frankencar site...wish I had those when I was putting mine in...it wouldnt have eaten up the whole day then (they forgot to even include a couple parts here and there).
