Max stalls, but why?

Well I had just done the KS bypass, and for the most part it worked. I got a lot of my power back, better acceleration, idle doesnt jerk/bounce as much as before, but still does every once in a while. Well yesterday my car stalled around 5 times, like just turned off. I have no cel, and I dont think its a clogged cat, because i put my hand in fron of the exhaust to feel it and its a "puff puff puff" and plus its not super quiet, meaning that the cat isn't clogged. What else could be causing my car to stall? Before I bypassed the KS, it wouldnt stall, I'm guessing thatthe KS advanced the timing enough so the car wouldnt stall, probably because there was somethign else wrong in my car that wouold have caused it to stall. What could it be then? I appreciate any help, any questions that need to be asked to figure this out are more than welcome, I'll be mroe than happy to answer to teh best of my knowledge =P
