hybrid intake

i'm considering buying a hybrid intake as my first mod to my 96 gxe. i've been looking around and it seems frankencar is pretty popular. can anyone who has this intake tell me more about it, like how well it performs for you, any problems installing, etc. i want to get as much info as possible from people who actually have the intake before i put my money down for one. thanks

It is a good mod. Only bad thing you lose a little low end power but gain power up top.

thats how most of us here started - an intake... i have a frankencar intake. worth every penny. then, get a budget y-pipe (www.budgetexhaust.com), and you will be on your way...

I thought you lost low-end with the Pop-charger alone and the hybrid intake with the mid-pipe solves this problem somewhat?
