Sprints to Eibachs...Now what ??
Alright I had sprints in my car for about 6 months, loved the look and the ride, but got scared of axle death from ian so I switched them out for eibachs.
The drop isnt as much especailly in the front and it bothers me but the ride is alittle better but really not noticably different. My question is if I get 18's will the gap reduce enough where i will only be bothered with the gap when I slap my 15's on for the winter ?? Or should I just change back to sprints, while I still have them, and call it a day , and not worry about killing axles since nobody on here with a low car is killing axles ? then when I get my 18's itll look really good

Personally, I dont like Eibachs, because they dont lower enough. If you liked the ride w/ Sprints, keep them. I believe Ian was the only person with axle problems, but NJ roads can be bad, so I dont know...
I have Progress springs (1.75 front, 1.5 rear, middle ground between Eibach/Sprint for lowering) with AGX's set 3/6, and I love the setup

my car's been riding on eibachs for 3 years now... also on stock SE struts and no problems w/ the axel, shocks, or anything suspension related *knock on wood*
The car looks lowered, but when compared to sprints, it looks stock lol. oh well, i don't see lowered maximas around here so it doesnt bug me... only at meets tho

Matt has a 5 speed and his front end tends to sit higher then the rear. Thats why he likes the Sprints better, they drop the car a lil more and it's even. (cut one rear coil)
But he's also had axel problems so before you go back to Sprint, think this out wisely.

I had Intrax before I got my Sprints. Even though they don't measure as low of a drop, after they settle they will end up lower than Sprints. In my opinion the ride and height sucked compared to the Sprints, but then again I was riding on stock struts back then before I threw in the AGX w/ Sprints. This month I will be replacing my passenger side axle for the second time since I've had that spring strut combo. Just one of the drawbacks I suppose - If you go that low just expect to have worn out axles.
