odometer problem

my odometer has basicly stopped working, every once in awhile it, and the trip counter will turn a few miles and then they both stop again. could this be electrical? oh and all the guages still work fine.

It's gotta be a problem within the speedometer's head. If the Miles per hour is working and the Odometer isn't then it 100% in the speedo head.

Well I'm having a similar problem. In my case, the odometer and trip don't work at all. If it's a problem in the head, how can this be fixed?
