Partial throttle hesitation?

This is hard to explain but under partial throttle, lets say 30% in any gear (mainly happens in second and third), while holding the throttle steady just doesn't pull smooth. It doesn't buck or anything but it is noticable. It's almost like I'm barely feathering the throttle when I'm really holding it steady.

Any ideas? Pulling timing maybe? MAF sensor on its way out?

I also happens at full throttle, but it is not as significant.

Thanks,

Doug D

And if you need more ideas if the ECU doesn't throw any error codest, try checking the knock sensor and cleaning the EGR system.

New fuel filter, cleaned the TB and air filter. EGR system was cleaned when the MEVI was installed. I did replace the knock sensor about 8 months ago, could it have gone bad already?

Does anyone have the instructions to bypass it as a troubleshooting step?

Thanks for all the suggestions!

Sounds like when you check ur ECU you will get an 04 03 (Throttle Position Sensor) fault. Apparently I need to learn more about mine cause its the only code that keeps popping up all the times I've reset it over the past few months in about 100 miles of driving for the last couple of days (half a damn tank- I am SOO MADDD!)
