Suspension question

Ok, i decided to upgrade my stock suspension. I was looking around today and I decided on Tokico HP Gas shocks and Sprint Springs. Does anybody have this setup? If so how do you like it? I read the forums here and it looks like I have to cut both rear coils to make the drop look even. Is there a better spring that delivers a good drop, along with a firm ride? Any info would be appreciated.

Never pair Tokico HP with sprint, you'll blow your shocks in 10k miles.

A lot of good info here:

Ok, so i guess i'll go with the KYB AGX's with Sprint's...does that sound good? Oh and it's the rear coils that need to be cut right?

Ok, I have one more noob question. I also plan on ordering a PR CAI and Cattman Y-pipe, but would i see any significant gains if I bought a Hi-flow cat? Thx.

I have the sprint/agx combo and I like it a lot, but the rear is a little higher than the front. sometimes it bothers me but i don't feel safe cutting the springs in the back so i'm happy for now.

cuttin 1 coil isnt too bad paul..most people with sprints have it cut and they are very content. use a grinder and make it easy on yoruself if you ever decide to do it.

crowghost- i read a hi flow cat plus a full catback system gives you about 10-15 hp. im guess hi flow cat alone will probably get you around 5 or 6 hp. not bad for the 175 or so cost.. but get the intake and y first. they give bigger gains. if your running on a budget a bomz cai with new real k & n, and budget y will save you some cash and give you the same gains.

question on the hi flow cat.. wil it make the car soud louder?? i might get one if the noise level increase is minimal..
