Spark Plug experience
Spark Plug experience
So I decide to change my sparks after car has hard starts. I get my NGK's..spark plug extension puller etc..i take out the first 3..put them in ( temperature 97, and my engine can cook an omlet it's so hot)..time to do the next 3..i unscrew remove them..all that's left is the far right spark plug..and that **** is covered up by some kind of metallic thing..so i stick the spark plug puller in with force and unscrew it..and somehow get the spark plug puller out ( it got stuck because of the **** around the 3d plug). So then i put in all the spark plugs...it's been 2 hours..turn on the car. And it shakes..a lot..turns out i didn't GAP those ****ing spark plugs >_< . SO i get a gap tool...take out all of them..replace them..again I'm stuck on the 3d one. This time i can't get my spark plug wratchet out because it's stuck...i got UNDER the hood completely laying down and pullling and it wouldn't come out..i did this for an hour or so..until i got the thing out put in the gapped plug. and it got stuck again..so this time i removed the **** that was in the way of the 3d plug..and then it worked...
Just wanted to share my first plug experience:-P..

glad you got it done. I was always told that NGK Platinums for the maxima didn't need to be gapped. and for the future, that thing that was in the way of spark plug 5 giving you so much trouble can be removed. There are 2 bolts that u can take out and then move the bracket out of the way. Just a little FYI
