Mods worth it? ECU?

Perhaps I'm getting paranoid, or maybe I've been test driving too many sports cars. Maybe the hellishly hot weather out here lately? (Austin, TX) It seems that I should be getting some more oommpph out of my Max then I seem to be lately given the mods I've done. (JWT popcharger, Cattmann Y-pipe, Courtesy B-Pipe and Muffler)

The car is a 5spd and well maintained, it just doesn't seem to fly the way it used to. Got around 47k miles on it, and according to the mechanic nothing wrong with it. I've been driving at night for testing to take advantage of the cooler weather. (~80 degrees)

Does anyone know of a place where I could get my Max dyno'ed in town? Or anyone with similiar mods got a ballpark figure of the cumlative gains that these mods would impart? Perhaps reset the ECU to see if the computer wakes up to the mods? Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

I know how.... and have just done so. To be honest I don't think this will make too much of a difference. Hopefully as the computer "relearns" my driving methods and such it will get more aggressive. I'd still like to hear from anyone with realistic or proven HP numbers on this set of mods.

I believe Colin Automotive has a dyno-machine. I have the Popcharger and its all highend (on coolish days), what sports cars did you test?

I'll look into Colin automotive. First I'll need a decent baseline for a 98 5spd stock. (At the wheels, which ain't 190HP!) You're right about the pop charger being high-end, however the exhaust work should have helped low end torque as much as horsepower.

Test drove various cars, new & old. 300ZX Turbo, new Corvette, S4, Boxster..... When I went out to Vegas last year rented a Viper GTS, now that spoiled me for life. TorqueMONSTER. Of course my left leg was sore for a week from dealing with it's clutch.

I pretty much test drive every new sports car or sports oriented sedan that comes out. I also help many of my friends finalize their new car deals and their overall car search.

Base-line is 171/145 depending on transmission, or at least from what I read.

Hello Austinites with 5-speed, 4-generations?!? Kev?
