I have a weird noise that goes clunk once when i am at a dead stop and i put the car in gear and step on gas and sometimes i don't even have to step on gas, once it's in gear it makes the noise.

When i have my foot on the brake and i put the car in reverse clunk then back in drive clunk back in reverse clunk back in drive clunk it's exactly like that.

It's comming from the driver side tranny area by the CV joint.
IT's not the axle cause that was changed twice...Could it be wheel bearing???

Whats up Kyle, most likely its your spindle bent or something. I had the same problem a year ago. Its pretty easy to change but you have to get a new wheel bearing with the spindle because it does not come with it.

 

So what's the cost that i'm looking at??? So i have to buy a new spindle and a new wheel bearing???

 

Call up Ken at Jerry Rome Nissan. Its about $220 for the spindle and bearing, not sure.
