I am about to buy some konig verdicts, the neww 2001 models in black opal for my 95 SE. The speedshop by me said $1500 for 17 x 7.5's, tires, mounted and balanced. I plan to save a little more for the 18's or 19's. My question is they also said that 8 inches is too wide for the maxima and 7.5 inches is as close as I'd want to be. Does anyone have 18 x 8's or 8.5's even?? and if so, any problems??

The ideal size is 17 or 18x8. Don't get anything else, for best results. Those guys don't know what they are doing.

Cool 18 x 8's it is!

Thanks for the input. Anyone else feel free to jump in there? I know 11 of you looked and only one hooked it up with some feedback. I'm gonna walk in the store and tell em I want 8's anyway and I don't wanna look like a fool when it comes time to put em on.

18x8 will work

hey bro, those 18x8's will fit just fine. i have 18x8 oz racing f1 cups...fit fine and ride good...oh yeah, my car is at stock heighth..haha. but yeah, those guys are fools, and make sure you get good rubber. its expensive, but worth it. if your going 8 inch wide, go 235/40/18s and i would recomend z rated just cuz. those verdicts look freakin HOT, post some pix when you hook em up!

Damn I was looking at the "Verdict's" too!!!!

It is definitely a hot wheel. You mentioned you were getting them in black opal, what color is your Max???? I have a darkgreen SE and was thinking the same color, but I'll probably take silver. Check out speedandstyle.com!

This is directly from their web page!

Prices below are for wheel packages which include Toyo tires, mounting and balancing. Different tires can be requested, although prices may be subject to change.

Konig Verdict
silver
or
hyperblack
17 x 7 $1199.00
17 x 8 $1249.00
18 x 7.5 $1599.00
18 x 8 $1649.00
19 x 8 $2300.00
hyperblack add $20 per wheel

Re: Damn I was looking at the

My max is pebble biege for now. I'm thinkin about a shade of blue or black for the future (after I get my stillen kit)! I love those verdicts. I had been checkin em online for a while, then I walked in my local speed shop the other day and there they were!! I told them to take them off the shelves so no one else could cop em before me!!
I am goin for the balck opal 18 x 8's, or I may hold out for the 19's but in silver.

I like those Verdicts...

They remind me a bit of the Skyline's wheels.
