i am thinking about Frankencar and y pipe (budget) and just wanna hear what it sounds like, i dont want anything too loud

sound clips thru diff. rpms please w/ ypipe only (budget pref.)

I want more HP/SPEED/TORQUE...etc, but not the noise associated with it.

 

well, there IS more noise...but, not fart-can ricer noise.
the sound is more like a grumbling V8 (IMHO)...I forgot my
camera at home, so, I'll have to record it later.

with or without the ypipe, the intake will rumble the same/similarly. the ypipe adds barely any extra noise...i only notice some extra noise when accelerating, but not much, and you easily forget about it since its such a small change.

 

well my y added some noise, its deeper, and sounds like a tl or cl type s exhaust system, my car is 5 speed. now in my bro's car we put in the y and a test pipe (no intake) and his car is like 10 times louder than mine, including on startup... its ridiculously loud, and there are no exhaust leaks... im thinkin its cuz of the test pipe but im not quite sure

 

If I were to get a ypipe, would I have to worry about my cat burning out because it has to now do the work of the precats as well? Please dont give an answer of "get a hi flow cat" unless thats actually the correct answer.

 

my dad has a cl-s and my car with the y sounds nothing like that car (i wish mine sounded like the cl-s).

pre-cats are only used for start up (and maybe only cold start up).

The site is fine...my problem was how do I get you guys to get
the files...I think I'll do a "right-click, save as" type of thing.

The files actually aren't THAT big...

to get files to be save target as, all you do is upload the wmv, or whatever movie file, then send the link to where it is on ur server.
eg. http://www.carmovies.com/bigrun.wmv

Then anyone can right-click save target as on the link and they will be able to download the movie from ur server to their pc.......

3 -- giving 'er.
4 -- in traffic.
5 -- just driving.

the car definitely sounds louder while driving hard...normal driving,
you can't really hear a difference...over 3000 RPMs, the car sounds
like a V8!!!
