Plug replacement

I just bought some new platinum tips, and am ready to install...i looked in the manual for their instructions on how to do so, and came across the words "spark-plug wrench" I'm not very advanced when it comes to tools and such, and this will be the first time i replace the plugs myself. What exactly is a spark-plug wrench? how much do they cost? could i just use any old wrench instead?

They make special sockets designed for spark plugs, which have a rubbber insert in them to cradle the ceramic part of the plug so it won't get damaged.. Any auto parts or hardware store should have it... Couple of different sizes are made, bring along a plug to be sure you get the right one...
