I just received my Brembo rotors today. There are no Markings of any kind that would identify them as real Brembo rotors. Can any of you help me?

Not sure, but I just received Brembo's that look very similar to yours, however on the side it says:
35 02 D MIN TH 8 MM and a Brembo symbol...
I think yours may be a "OP" brand... Then again mine are for a 98 maybe they are diff
Someone verify?

how much , and wher did you get them from ???
brembo or not brembo - i still like them !!!!
but you get what you pay for - real brembos must be expensive, plus i heard that many companies buy blank brembos and cross drill and slot them .....

The fact that they are made in China and come in an OP box tell me they aren't.
Everyone I know that bought real deal Brembos, had them come in the Brembo box, and along the circumfrence, had the Brembo stamp along with the application code.
This is not to say you don't have quality rotors. From the looks of them, it appears the cross drills are chamfered and the cross hatching looks to be done well. When something like cross hatching is down well, the work is usually done well as well. As for the quality of the material itself, I guess only time will tell just how quality the material really is.

Originally posted by Supermachoman Yeah, the fact that they are made in China, and have no Brembo symbol or marking worries me. I bought them from a very reputable dealer that is respected by the Maxima community though.

If that's the case I don't see why you can't call this vendor and ask him a few question just to verify what your concerns are. Verify do they sell "Brembo" rotors or some generic, or better yet verify which one did they sell you. As Nick stated a lot of companies buy Brembo blanks and cut/drill their own holes. Happy hunting

My brembos had a stamp as was said by Sin, along with a brembo symbol. Doesn't really matter though, how many people are going to look at the circumference of the rotor and bag on you because it doesnt say brembo once they are installed?

Originally posted by Supermachoman I would but it was Friday evening when they arrived, and the place I got them from is closed on weekends.

well, atleast if you paid with a debit or credit card you'll be able to dispute the charges if your vendor gives you a monkey dance about it.
Good luck with your brakes - I'm jealous I want the Brembo GT package so bad I can't stand it !......
