Easy ?'s about injen intake install
Easy ?'s about injen intake install
My Injen intake will be arriving on monday. While looking under the hood today, I noticed lots of sensors and various items that would be relocated/replaced. I haven't seen the instructions yet obviously, but from what I can see, the intake starts right at the throttle body...if this is so, where will the MAF be? Where does the boost sensor hook in? What stays and what goes?

MAF sensor goes inline with the Injen, you unbolt it from your stock intake and bolt it into the Injen.
Boost sensor - just tie it up someplace, it's only attached to the stock intake.
Intake Air Temp sensor needs to go into the Injen as well. (If your car is equipped with one) The Injen has a hole for it, just take the rubber gromet and sensor from your stock piping and install it in the Injen.
You'll need to just move the wiring for the MAF sensor. You'll have to unbolt the harness to get more wire to relocate it. Also the droping resistor needs to be unbolted from the strut tower so it can move with the wire harness from the MAF.
It's a very easy intake to install. Take your time and watch where everything goes. I installed mine at the last meet. Took all of about 45 min. with only a few tools.
BTW: The Injen growls like a V8
