Weezing?

As i accelerate, my car begins to "weez" in the backseat near the rear window. I thought i was just crazy, but others have heard it too. Is it an air pocket loose in my trunk somewhere? Sound only becomes apparent after acceleration.

can it be the alternator whining through the rear speakers?

How/why would it do that? my alternator recently died and i replaced it with a new one (which is giving me some weird noises STILL) but has worked fine. could it be that? i haven't noticed it until recently.

Do this. Next time you have a cold, sprint 100 yards. Then see if you aren't wheezing. Cars suffer the same as us.

Kidding. Like Nismo said, it could be your alternator whining through your speakers. Also check your rear windows to make sure they are sealing (mine make a horrible noise if one is cracked but the fronts are up).
