remote for a 99..how to program

I purchased a new remote for my 99 SE but can't get it to work. The instructions for programming are for a 95. Are they different for a 99?

Should be the same. Insert key more then 10x bla bla bla... Worked in my 99.

is this for keyless entry??? Cuz my 99SE-L didnt come with one, and now i want one. So what do i have to do?

that procedure doesn't work. When you insert and remove the key 6 or more times the hazard warning lights are supposed to flash. Nothing happens when I do this.

if that doesn't work than maybe you got a wrong remote, double check to see if its for the maxima
