For those with Apexi WS...banging issues
Well, I only got the catback installed today. Tomorrow will be the Y-Pipe. Anyway, I didn't think there was any banging noise until I got out onto the street. I couldn't go back that minute since I was their last customer and they were closing. The right side hanger closest to my exhuast tip is banging against the tow hook. I thought it was just a careless job by the exhuast place, but someone else had the same problem also:

Does anyone else have this problem? If so, what did you do to fix it? The person in the thread above removed the tow hook. It seems easy enough for me to do. But, if there's a way to fix this without removing anything, I would go that route.
Most likely the exhuast shop will fix it tomorrow, but I just want to know if I can do anything as of now before tomorrow.
Thanks.

Ok, finally! I just simply took off 3 14mm bolts for the rear tow hook on the muffler side, and everything is great! Fitment is perfect and I'm very happy. I'm going to take it out for a test drive right now (again).
BTW, I'm getting the Y-pipe installed tomorrow. Will the Apexi sound different? thanks.

My ws banged too
I changed the hangers and cut pieces of the old rubber hanger and wedged it between the two hook and new hanger. I did this because when I took off the tow hook, the exhaust became really loud. With the wedge rubber in between, there is very slight movement of the muffler itself, no vibration and even gas flow out of the exhaust. I have WSP Y, Apexi WS and it is very quiet. When i first had it installed, it was loud as a ****, until I wedged the rubber piece...

It's funny, I heard an audible hiss for about 10 seconds when I test drove the car tonight (yes, again). But after those 10 seconds, it completely disappeared. I'll ask them to double check the connections tomorrow.

A little interested in this. I have the same setup as him. hmm, I doubt the tow hook would add exhuast noise. Can anyone think of other cases as to why his exhuast got QUIETER?
And why do you say VERY QUIET? is that a correct descriptive term? My exhuast is not quiet at all, but it's not annoying either.
This is my exhuast sound:

btw, the video overemphasizes the low frequencies of the exhuast note. It's really not as loud as it sounds @ idle, but it does resemble the sound of the car under load.

That sounds good when you are reving but when it's idle it sounds like it's making gurgling sounds. Must be the video probably.
