I have another adaptor but I need the nuts and the damn nuts are welded onto the metal one in the stock airbox... Im trying to resolve this without putting it back on to drive to teh auto parts and find some nuts... any takers?

not real sure what you mean but I do not remember any nuts being welded on. If they are attached to the plate then you will need new ones.
what type of intake are you puting on?
That may help you in getting specific instructions

Big Cracker
nah screw that i just went to home depot and picked up 4 screws n 4 nuts... worked fine... hey mzmtg surprisingly its not loud at all... I was wondering if I did something wrong.. lol only at around WOT does it scream.. It was a hot day to test so it didn't really do nothing.. nice sound effects though...
oh one more question wtf is that sensor that goes into the stock airbox for? the one in front of the MAF? I just unscrewed it from the old airbox and stuck it inside the filter.. It came out again so I gotta find out a way to leave it in there.
