Spark Plug Wires?

I'm beginning to think that my spark plug wires are shot (along with using $h!tty bosch plugs), cause my idle is pretty strange. I'll be sitting at a red light at about 650rpm...then it will rev up to about 850, then back down, over and over. I talked to one of my buddies, and he recommended that I change my plugs to NGK (which are on order), and my wires as well. The car has 115k miles on it, and I doubt those wires have EVER been changed. I'm having a hard time finding the OEM wires. Can anyone show me where I need to go, or if there are better aftermarket wires available? Thanks

More than likely it is the spark plugs, not the coil packs. Only on rare occassions do the coil-packs go bad.

I would first change the plugs, and see how that works. If not, then clean out your throttle body and replace/clean the air filter.

oh btw.. if you get misfire in cylinder 2 .. switch the coil packs around.. then check the code again.. if the code still says cylinder 2 .. then the spark plug in cylinder 2 is bad.. not the coil pack.. if the code changes cylinder number.. then its your coil pack thats bad.. not your plug

What kind of plugs you got in there?

The dealer I got my car from had AutoLite plugs in mine and that's why my car was a little sluggish, but now I put in copper NGK plugs and it's powerful again Almost beat a Mustang the other day

Excellent advice. Getting the ECU code is one thing, but acting on it correctly is something different. Unnecessarily replacing an expensive part sucks (er, since I've done it.)
