Clutch question! Please help.

Just had my local shop install a new ACT Clutch Kit and I have a few questions about it. I’ve never had to replace the clutch in my car (100k) so I don’t know what an after market clutch feels like. Here is what’s going on. When I engage in 1st or reverse, I get a weird shake. It almost feels like the plate is skipping. Sort of what happens when you peel out with bad suspension. It hops. But this is going on with my clutch!

Any ideas? Has any one seen this before? Does this typically happen when you put in a new clutch?

Thanks for the response!

It happened with my ACT when I first got it. From what I've heard, it's completely normal. It will wear down after a while (mine did).

Just go easy on it, or you'll be replacing bearings like me. Don't slam gears or anything like that (bad to do anyway, regardless of clutch).
