First off, what a job! I let everything soak in WD40 for about 30 minutes before I started but the two bolts on the converter were pretty much stuck. I broke one of them off flush trying to get it out. I ended up drilling it out and chasing the threads to clean them up. That was a hassle. Besides that it went well. There is no provision for my O2 sensor on the new pipe. It's wired out of the way right now. As far as sound, it is louder than stock but it's not loud. Nice low grumble. The muffler is not straight thru. The tip fit PERFECT in the cut out. I removed the passenger side rear tie down because it looked like it would rub the muffler. Very slight sound at highway cruising. I can hear what the motor is doing now, but you have to pay attention. Definatly better acceleration. I didn't drive very much (it's late). WOT sounds wonderful. Thanks to Wicked for the good deal!

i just installed mine too. it has a resonator and is 2.5 inch pipeing. it has a nice tone to it. looks great!!! i did remove my rear tow hook on the passenger side because it looked like it might hit a little going over bumps.
it cat-back came with all the crush rings and screws needed. plus i now have a big a'pexi sticker i'm going to put on soon...(kidding) the b-pipe was two seperate pieces. the powder-coating was very nice too. if you really want your o2 sensor in you can have a muffler shop add it for you. i do feel the car is faster now. also when looking at the factory b-pipe and the a'pexi next to each other all i can say is, wow! what a difference. the nissans crimp looks really restrictive..

After driving to work today I got to hear it under different speeds. Nice tone, not too loud. As far as free flowing, it definately flows better than stock. The pipe and the muffler are a lot more open. The pipe is smooth all the way back to the muffler. The factory pipe looks way restrictive with all the crimps. I'm trying to make the mini meet Friday, you can check it out.

Question about ApexI B-Pipe

For those of you who installed this - is the ApexI B-Pipe directly interchangeable with the stock B-Pipe, or do you have to get the ApexI muffler as well?

you can't buy them seperate. looking at it, it looks like you could use the pieces seperate with the factory stuff.
the b-pipe is hella nice

Anyone have pics?

Can one of you guys post some pics of the entire unit? I would be more than happy to post them on my site.

You have some nice pics of the tip. What I am very interested in seeing are some very clear pics that show the entire B-Pipe, and exactly where and how it joins the muffler section. I want to know if the B-Pipe portion by itself is directly interchangeable with the stock B-Pipe. If you did this install yourself - you should know.

i did the install with a buddy of mine. when looking at the a'pexi now next to the stock muffler it looks like the stock muffler will not reach the a'pexi b-pipe. the pipe from the a'pexi muffler is longer than the stock one

THANKS! That's what I thought. It sounds like an exact copy of the GReddy system. That is a shame because I had some interest in their B-Pipe as a standalone.
