Tachometer hookup?
i was curious if anybody knows where a tach is hooked up to typically. i just got my car and its got an aftermarket tach and i wanted to take it off.

To the distributor/power (12v) /ground

But it also depends on what type of ignition you have.

there is no distributor. im pretty sure the ignition is stock also

what kind of tachometer is it? if its an autometer or autogage monster tach im interested. once you get it off you want to sell it? let me know. email me at sckennedy1@cfl.rr.com

no its a Faze. ive never heard of them before, its nice though. its a 5" w/shift lite. its indiglo too, which is actually pretty cool.

my problem is it looks like its professionally installed. wires are all hidden, and i cant seem to trace them. i dont want to just rip it out, because i dont know if i can just leave the wires there, even if they are wrapped up.
