Removing The Pop Out Tray

Hey guys,

I have a '95 GLE. My Bose CD/tape deck **** the bed about a month ago so I bought a new CD deck and I want to install it where my pop-out tray is (located under the factory Bose deck) and I was just wondering if anyone knew how to remove the pop out tray without damaging it in the process. Any help is well appreciated.

Thanks Alot,
Maxima Black a.k.a. Tony Sav

The whole trim piece around the BOSE will need to come out... which means the piece with the ducts above and the shifter/ash tray trim has to come out first.

What is an HU? And when u guys say I have to remove the whole trim piece do you mean up to where the woodgrain ends or even farther up to say my rear defroster and emergency flashers buttons, and if so how do i take all of that paneling off?

Thanks,
