Ride type?

I am really interested in getting a somewhat more stock like ride. Right now I have drop zone springs, and stock shocks and my ride is awful in bumps and not even smooth on smooth roads. What type of ride will a max with 18X8s and tokico (blue) + H&R's yield? Will it be better or the same ride that is obtainable from Tokico Illuminia's and H&R's. I am talking about both bumpy and semi smooth road conditions. I have to firgure this **** out or I am gonna just sell my rims and buy 16's. I do not care about performance and handling at all.

stick w/ your H&Rs. and get rid of the Tokicos. I have AGXs with 17x8s and i'm loving my ride/handling. Bumpy roads can get a lil harsh sometimes but that's nothing new, even w/ stock springs/shocks. Smooth roads, the ride/handling is fine. On the highway is where the shocks/springs shine the most. nothing better then having that solid feeling when your holding a curve @ 110mph.

no you misuderstood me. I have dropzone springs and stock shocks. I know this is bad and probably most of my problem. I think H&R is the way to go from what I have read unless there is a softer spring for the max? I have road on AGX and Eibach and the ride is still to rough for me. I originally had a GLE suspension and it took bumps pretty well. Almost all the roads where I am are awful, and I don't do that much highway riding so I need to get a suspension that can handle the bumps. RIght now I am hitting my head on the ceiling and when I hit a big bump it feels like my back end jumps to the right or left. Its getting worse and worse day by day.

Put H&R's in and couple them with Illuminas. There a touch firmer then the Blues, much smoother then any KYB product and will stand up better to your poor roads.

if they are firmer then why would I want them over the regular tockico blues if I am looking for the smoothest ride I can get with 18's on my max? Especially since they cost a lot more? If the illumina's are the best way to get my ride back, then I will definitely go with them, but I would just like to know. Also what other parts will I need to buy. Should I get a kyb bump stop and dust boots. I don't have any dust boots right now and my stock bump stop was cut in half.

Because the Blue rears will blow out just as quick as stocks do. The fronts will be fine.

H&R/Illuminas are the best thing for comfort right now.

i was informed it would be good to go with KYB AGX in the rears and keep the tokico blues up front...so if you want, you could just go illuminas/agx's in the back and keep the blues up front if you want to save a couple bucks.

AGX rears are pretty firm, regardless of the setting you put em on.. If you want a soft ride, Illuminas would probably be better.
