...it was an automatic. the sc install was very clean and tidy. the average person probably couldnt tell it was aftermarket. i drive my 5speed max everyday, so it was wierd driving the sc max because it has a completey different power band. my max (no sc) pulls strongly off the line all the way to about 5 grand then kind of runs out of breath. the sc max w/auto pulls like a stock max all the way to about 4.5 grand and then it was like a nitrous shot i could hear the engine saying "hell yeah boost boost boost!!!!!" compared to the sound my HKS intakes makes the sc max had a deep growl to it mine is more of a sucking sound. the only bad thing about the sc i drove was not being able to control when the tranny shifts. none the less it was the expierence of a life time. certainly gives me motivation to get a sc before NOPI NATS 2001.
