I thought $1.65 for 93 was getting bad (note to self: Do not move to northern Cali).

Texaco has since been bought out by Shell and I have not been able to find anything above 91. A friend of mine has some 104 and 107 octane gas that I am trying out this weekend.

I heard that STP will give you way better mileage and will help your fuel injector. I know people that put it in every other tank and swear by it, but there people that tink its a waste. for $1 a bottle is it worth? I put it in every now and again, What do u guys think?

Here in texas the gas prices are moderate. for a gallon of 91 octane gas at chevron is about 1.73.

oh wow and i thought it was just ny, our gas prices went up 10 cents in a day as well..premuium 93 is now just over 2$ a gallon in most places. i was totally shocked....wednesday it was $1.89 and 2 weeks ago it was like $1.84...i would've said that the recent rise in gas prices was because of the Northeast blackout last week, but since CA wasn't a blackout victim then i guess my hypothesis was wrong......WTF is up with GAS

yea man, california gas prices are usually much higher than most other states. there is a good 45 cents difference between what you and I pay for gas. recently im filling up $5 everytime, hoping that prices are going down but sometimes i regret not filling it up all the way because the next day, the prices have gone up instead of down. u'd never know what the future has for u, do u?
