Ummm ... and your temp gauge says what?

When your exhaust temps are upwards of 400F, things can get a bit hot under there.

temp gauge gets up to the half point mark, where it should be, i think it has been a while, i really dont remember, a while ago though, that i changed coolant. it gets really hot under there and u all know thats bad 4 performance. i checked coolant and i have little oil deposits, maybe a good rad flush would do the job?

It's prefectly normal to feel the intense heat of your cars engine coming from the radiator. It means your cooling system is dissapating heat, like it should be.

Temp gauge in the middle is normal engine temperature. Your car is not overheating, from your post, it sounds like your cooling system is working very well.

I thought I had a problem earlier in the year because my fans were kicking on high. After paying attention to some other Infinities and Nissans, I'm confident it's normal. Still, when possible, I lift my hood when I get home oh a hot summer day....Can't hurt...not unless someone steals your battery..

don't bother with changing your coolant, your problem is simple: Your car is working too hard in the summer heat. Feed it some gatorade (preferebly orange) and everything will work out fine. Also, it wouldn't hurt to take it out for ice cream every once in a while.

Ahh, i'm so lonely.
