GC tokico blues
After a long search on springs, progress, sprints, H&R, and Eibachs, I realized the drop wouldnt be low enough. So I threw caution to the wind and went with GC's Got them monday am and installed the ground controls that night.. I also got Tokico blues for them .. right now I have them at the lowest setting which is just about right... the ride wasnt as bad as I thought... and it took 3hrs for the install... I guess it helps to have an air compressor...

I had tokico blues in my rears and they were gone pretty much after 3-4 months with my eibachs. The front struts are fine and I still have them on my car. I swapped the back with KYB AGX's and they are wonderful. Completely night and day difference. Good luck with the rears and if they blow, get AGX's

i don't think the blues will last too long...the rears do tend to blow quickly
im currently on ground control and stock shocks for about 5 months...on a 1.5" drop
are your making any noises?

I like the ride, I was expecting worse after riding my Cuz's ride (the accord on the page). I dont have any noises comming from the GC's only the mud guards scraping from speed bumps once in awhile. It does get a bit bouncy at times (the struts can be stiffer) but I can live with it for now. As for the installation the only thing that really slowed me down was compressing the springs which took some time and getting the O-rings on the front when prepping the GC's that was a real pain. The rest of the setup was straight forward. I did take off my seats to get to the back struts only to find the access in the trunk (it was 1am when I was doing this) I have them set at its lowest settings. But if the shocks fail, will the KYB's fit, I tried searching this before with the different GC model and shock setup and thought that they have a different setup.. but I dont know what the differences are...

What did you use air tools on? I can't think of anything that would require them. Or maybe u don't have the right tools for the job and cut corners w/air tools?
What did you mean by "I realized the drop wouldnt be low enough"?

Air tools just help with removing those nasty bolts and compressing the spring basically cutting corners... and as for the drop comment I saw some max's with eibachs, and progress setup and it still looks too high and so I didnt want to take any chances with the 2" springs... also it gives the option to raise them for the winter... just gotta grease them up before so that they dont sieze...

Are you having any problems with your GC's? Hows the ride been? You asked if he is having noises. Are you experiencing noises from the GC's? If so what kind of noises?

where i do get noises at times is going VERY slow and turning the wheel...it has a squeeking sound...and after a few turns it'll go away...
so its basically just when i start the car and take my first couple turns...then it goes away.
Thurznite, you do need air tools for this job...the strut bolts on the bottom are on very tight, possibly rusted and seized on. also takes off the lug nuts in a couple seconds.
Maximashorniest, i don't find the ride too bad...its very similar to my friends with eibach/agx. my car actually rides a bit softer, but does not absorb bumps as well (bounces) more than his (which dampens more).
