the passenger side airbag cover plate on my "new" 95 SE is discolored (a few scratches which show black, and general darkening). having looked at probably a dozen w/tan interiors before buying, this seems to be a common problem.

what are the (various) fixes? prices?

the rest of the interior (especially the dash) is pretty much perfect, so if the dealer can replace the top piece and it's not too expensive, i'd consider it.

This subject has been coming up a few times lately. I need to know, also. One person said the cover is part of the dash, and another said it is actually part of the airbag. Does anyone know for sure (from an interior swap or something)?
