Under normal driving you won't hear it much but like others said past 3 grand and u hear a mean roar. Sounds good, gives the car the attitude it lacks with its stock quiet engine.

For noise, get a CAI.

For power, get a HAI.

Not True. A Pop Charger is louder because its in the engine bay. A Cai is loud, but not as loud because of how far tucked down in the engine bay it is. You can hear the HAI or Pop Charger Louder at Full throttle then a CAI.

Either way, Every Maxima deserves an Intake, dont matter what kind it is. Ppl should love the sound, And you will to when you get The Pop charger or which ever intake. Once you get it, You'll wish you always had it.

you hear it as soon as you step on it more than half way

even if you're at idle... I can make it roar at 2k if I want to

I dont have an intake on my Max, but I must say they do sound sweet, it gives your otherwise unoticed family sedan a new personality so to speak.
