Blew out front AGX...replace with Illuminas?

i think i blew out my front two AGX struts, cuz theyre constantly clunking and the ride is wobbly up front in the last two weeks...i have them paired with B&G's rite now, and i just put a front lip on(stillen), but i want the lip to hang a tiny bit lower

now i wanna swap it all out, and i hurd the illuminas up front are real nice, but i wanna be a bit lower in the front too, so i was thinkin either intrax or sprints, which would go better with the illuminas and not make the ride too harsh...ill be keeping the rears B&G/agx BTW and putting motivational rear mounts too, any suggestions...and also wheres the cheapest place i can get illuminas? and how much?

Sprint springs are to low for NYC streets. You should only be looking at Eibach or H&R's so you have enough suspension travel. Lower isn't better especially on city streets like that. I bet you blew an upper strut mount, not the strut itself. B&G's are low, combine that with NYC streets and you probably drove the strut up into the mount enough times to blow the thing apart. Thats most likely where your clunk is coming from. You may also have damaged the lower control arm bushings.

If you want a firm ride, keep the AGX's if there not blown. If you want to give the car back some suspension travel and make it ride and handle NYC streets better, get H&R's or Eibach springs and couple them with Illuminas. You need suspension travel to handle the streets in NYC. There's no way around that issue.
