upper Intake manifold comparison VQ35 and VQ30
upper Intake manifold comparison VQ35 and VQ30
i have been looking at the 2 manifolds and i have noticed the design differences... the early 5th gen and all 4th gen have the intake manifold set up like such:
(sorry for the MEVI picture but its shows the best and its the only good pic i can find.. but same exact TB--->runner set up)
with the TB on the drivers side and a horizontal channel feeding the runners going to the enigine.... from what i see the set up only allows the first two or three runners to get cool air and then the other runners are left with warm air and maybe less air, wouldnt this "cheat" those cylinders further from the TB?
..... but with the VQ35 the channel fromt the TB is centered and the air is free flowing to all runners from the center instead of from the one side....
VQ35
am i making any sense? can anybody back me up on this or maybe explain to me if it was designed this way on purpose.
