Check my homepage. Its not too hard. Be real careful not to scratch the paint underneath. This is much easier if ur gettin' paint at the same time.

If you like the contrast of the black/color of your car, I would go with carbon fibre pillars, they look quite nice IMO.

Guys-
I am not talking about the pillars, I am talking about the trim that goes horizontal on the doors. Look at the pic above, I mean the trim/mold (whatever you want to call it) under the door handles, about a foot under. It goes horizontal on the door and is almost as long as the door.

if you remove them you will have to fill in and repaint the doors because there are holes in the doors from where these mount.....

Ok yeah there are holes behind the molding like every 3 inces or so, people have shaved them off but the car looks naked without them. I have faded moldings on the drivers side and it really chaps my a$$. Here is a link of a shaved maxima

U are right, it does look weird without them. I am not too big on shaving anyways, some things I can understand, but this definately doesn't improve the look IMO.
I think some people do weird things to their cars just for the sake of doing something and being different, but we tend to forget that designers have worked on those cars (especially fine pieces like ours ) for a long time to see what is the best look possible. And undoing them oftem has a much less desirable effect.
