Stupid headlights...

Is it just me or are the 97-99 headlights a pain in the @$$ to get out???? Can someone post the instructions (maybe with pictures too?) of how to get the headlight out? I've posted this before but there was something about 'ball and socket clip thing' and I have no idea what that is.. also, what tools do I need to get it out? Leave it to Nissan to make something as simple as removing a light- hard as F***

i don't remember step by step but i took mine out a while back and it's not too hard... just take your time and look what holds them. I remember that there's like 2 probably 10mm sockets holding each and you have to take the front grill out and corner lights out too. Take a few minutes and look under your hood you'll figure it out.

Pop out the corner light (hardest part) after taking off the top screw then there are 2 bolts underneath it. There are 2 other bolts next to the radiator from behind as well...

the corner light can be removed by slipping in a long flat end screwdriver in between the space between corner light and the headlight, placing it where that ball joint meets the body and twisting the screwdriver. be careful not to chip the edge of the corner light.
the two other bolts by the radiator are right above and below the headlight beam adjustment rod. tight space but it can be done.

got it done, thanks guys.. once I figured out that corner light I had it from there.. after dropping my 10mm socket into the engine bay..and after taking off the plastic underneath the engine to get it back... it was simple.. lol
