I got the ebay CAI for my birthday, but installed it as a short ram instead. My question is: Where does my o2 sensor connect into? After installation, i drove around and everything seemed fine, but my "check engine" light came on. So wassup? What should i do? anything i have to worry about?

wont screw your emmisions, if theres no plug on ur midpipe for the o2 sensor it ain't gonna go no where, and ur check engine light will stay on, u can try to stick it in the pipe through the connectors, but i wouldnt do that.... thats just me

 

so what should i do? my o2 sensor is probably not busted, is it? what can i do to get rid of that?

any downfall of having a short ram or keeping your the check engine light on? can i just disconnect the battery and have the ecu reset?

 

WHAT o2 sensor? Thre are no o2 sensors anywhere near the intake, they're all in the exhaust pipes. If you mean the thing with the tiny resistor/cap at the end it doesn't matter where it goes. Probably didn't plug all the hoses in or the MAF connector is loose...

 

MAF connector? (sorry, not knowledgable about this type of stuff).

 

The plug that goes into the big black thing with a pink sticker...
