I think that biggest advantage of the transponder keys ( it s hardER to steal the car... not too many crooks have a flatbed truck).Other than that $ 100 for the keys is no fun. Also, if by mistake you insert a wrong key in, your ingition may get disabled even when you try to use the right key. It looks that there are advantages and disadvantages .
