I just got my car stolen yesterday!!

The police are still looking and the insurance company can't do much until the investigation reveals that the car is gone for good.

I'm thinking of getting a 1996 SE 5sp with the insurance money

Does anyone know how much your payments go up usually when getting your car stolen??

Pray that they don't find the car for a long time. Sometimes its best that the insurance company write off the car as a total loss. Take the money and run!

95/96s are dirt cheap now. It may not be as easy to find a 5spd but there will be plenty of cars to choose from.

Good luck with your search.

Where in the country do you live? Just wondering where Maximas get stolen from. Sorry to hear about the situation. I hope they either find the car soon or settle it with you so you can just move on.

what mods did you have on your car? I wouldn't get your hopes up too much cause usually the cops will find your car. Pray that it's longer than a month, but usually these lil punks that steal cars leave your car in a neighborhood and eventually someone will call the police cause they're tired of having it parked in front of their house. It's happened already to three people i know. They have been all honda accords though. I guess those things are easy to steal.

Well it's gonna cost the insurance company soem money to replace my car if ever it's not recovered in the near future. I'm just not srue if my insurance payments are going to go up because of this.

I rather have a 1996 5sp than my 1993 so I guess if they don't find it, all the better... I shouldn't say that, I feel bad now
