How reliable are these ebay intakes

This cold air intake on ebay for the maxima...

The second one isnt a ram-air, just a midpipe with a cone filter, ram air is usually something with a scoop from the outside of a car that directs air right into the filter. Such as the Trans-Am Ws-6. Personally, I would go with the second one, no drilling required.

I have the second one, i have no problems with it exept i have no were to put my air temp sensor and i had to get new hoses because the stock ones just seemed to short. But im happy.

i have the first one and its great, with the second one i dont think it comes with a maf adapter so i dunno how u'd attach the filter?

I have the first one and so far I love it. I have had no problems and I don't forsee any resulting from this CAI. It makes my Max sound very mean at high RPM's too. But it also sounds stock while driving normally. It wasn't too hard to install either.

Hmm you're right the performance intake doesnt look like there is a MAF adapter so i dont know what you would do there. The only thing im worried about with cold air intakes, is taking in snow or rain because pittsburghs full of it. But they do make those special foam catchers for it
