Power Dimming

I notice this just today, that whenever I drive with my overhead lamps on brake the electrical system goes dim.

this also seems to happen when turning with the overheads on too. I know the solution drive with the over head off, but I use it to read my enews reader when driving (saike??? ha !)
:

But I am just worried that its a sign of electrical system failure, up and coming.

Thats for the respond all.

You may also need to clean the grounds. This has been associated with dimming under higher electrical load.
