there was another maxima member helping us out with the group buy. here are the questions asked and the answers to them:

1) Can you ask the manufacturer and see if the lower tie bar will fit on the A33 chassis (2000-2003)?

NOT POSITIVE IT WILL FIT AN A33. I WILL TRY TEST FITTING ONE BUT WE NEED TO FIND SOMEONE LOCAL WITH THE A33.

2) Install. Do you have to use longer bolts?

NO, NO ADDITIONAL BOLTS OR BRACKETS REQUIRED. LOWER ARM BAR USES ALL PRE-EXISTING BOLTS.

3) What does it do to ground clearance?

I DON'T HAVE THE EXACT MEASURMENTS. THE CAR THAT WE HAD BUILT IT ON HAS 18" WHEELS AND TEIN COIL OVERS.

4) So if you have to do some tranny/exhaust work, you have to remove those long control arm bolts to take the brace out??

TO DO ANY MAJOR WORK THE LOWER ARM BAR MUST COME OUT. IT TAKES ABOUT 30 MINUTES IF YOU TAKE YOUR TIME.

5) Would it clear aftermarket Y-pipes? (a straight through pipe that connects the exhuast from the engine and the catalytic converter?)

WE ARE GOING TO BUILD OUR OWN Y-PIPE SOON. IT CLEARS THE OEM PIPE WITH NO PROBLEM BUT I AM NOT POSITIVE OF AN AFTERMARKET.

6) Are there are any other sort of modifications required to make it fit.

NO MODIFICATIONS TO MAKE IT FIT. ALL THAT IS REQUIRED ARE SOME HAND TOOLS.

7) clearance issues? (this is important)

I WILL LET YOU KNOW HOW LOW IT IS AS SOON AS I CAN.

8) How would this work in combination with a FSTB and RSB. Would it make the chassis too still in combination with the RSB?

WITH ALL STB'S IN PLACE IT SHOULD HANDLE PRETTY GOOD. I SUGGEST YOU DON'T ARMOR-ALL YOUR SEATS TOO MUCH.

for ground clearance questions:

Lower arm bar is 2 3/4" from the ground.
Bumper was measuring 6 1/2" and the sides measured at 5 3/4"
This was with tein prototype coil-over suspension and 18" wheels.

The customer only scraped it once going through a dirt parking lot.
