BOMZ filter not oiled?

BOMZ filter not oiled?

i have had my BOMZ HAI on a while now. i looked at the filter closely the other day while changing my oil and i dont see any dust build up. i dont think its oiled. any one have any problems with unoiled BOMZ filters, or is this normal?? i rubbed part of the filter too to see if i can get any oil residue on my fingers..nope.. thanks for any replies.

I think you should generally oil it after a cleaning to ensure that the fiter element doesnt dry out .

yeah its spose to be oiled.. its the steel mesh/ cotton type filter.. if its not oiled, it doesnt filter any dust at all..

i havnt oiled it myself yet cause i havnt needed to clean it yet.. its only about 5 months old.
