My exhaust is driving me crazy....
Since I installed the Y pipe, my exhaust is driving me crazy this shiet is too loud. Right now I have a y pipe, 2.5" piping to a N1 muffler. This set up gives me really good power up rpm range, but the sound is less than pleasing. Right now I'm looking for either a Apexi WS (70mm inlet pipe), HKS sport (70 mm inlet pipe), or a Blitz TT realize exhaust. The problems is that all of these exhaust come only 2.25" piping which I don't want. I know that all of these muffler come in larger diameter piping, so I'm emailing all those manufacuters, to see if I can buy these mufflers with a larger inlet diameter piping.

yea...i had sound problem with y-pipe + N1, sold the N1 long time ago and picked up a magnaflow instead.
i believe magnaflow race series has 2.5 inlet. give it a try, they don't sound too loud on our car.
IMO the inlet for the muffler doesn't really matter if it's 2.25 or 2.5, especially if ur NA. jus my .02

There is no Blitz Realize TT exhaust for the 4th gen Maxima. Believe me, I tried. It turns out that the dealers over in the US assumed that the A32 code for the exhaust was for the Maxima when in fact it is only for our Japanese counterpart, the Cefiro. Try the new JIC cat-back exhaust that's listed on JIC's website...I wanna get some opinions on it before I spring for it...hehe
