Lost a PIAA.....

My other half has my car while I get some much needed body work done at the shop on his 330. Driving the 330 with half the side primed, full of dust and no moldings on it isn't fun either I've gotta get paint on this car by the weekend. Anyhow, back to loosing PIAA's. My car came home tonight with a fog light out. I hate when that happens.

I'm thinking of putting HID's into the 330. It uses H7's and I'm wondering what the beam pattern is like with an HID conversion on the H7 setups?

Any comments would be appreciated.

Unless the location of the HID bulb's "hotspot" is the same as the location of the H7 bulb's filament center, you'll end up throwing the beam pattern off. A little difference in location of a lamps source makes a big difference on the beam pattern.

I'd stick with the H7 bulb...but buy the Philips Vision Plus bulb.
