Once again the project has been delayed
, but 2 weeks from tomorrow I should start the body work. Lately all I have been accomplishing are small wiring projects and little unexcitiing things. I have included a sneak peak on the angel eye project. I decided that since my headlights have been converted to HID, the angel eyes should be somewhere close to the same color. I ordered some 5 watt luxeon star leds with optical focusers. These puppies weighed in at $46 per side! But I think that it will just be one more mod that distinguishes my car. The picture shows the halogen light as being much brighter, but the white is just a fraction less bright. The HIDs that I purchased are 6000k color temperature and the LEDs are 5500k. This makes the LEDs look slightly more blue and the HID slightly more pink. Here are the pictures of both a comparison and the light in action:
