Cd Err

I have the factory stereo in my car it is saying "CD ERR" can that problem be fixed and how much, or do i have to get a new stereo. Also can I buy a clarion cd changer and add it on with out going through the FM radio. please help.

Get a CD player cleaner disk if you plan on keeping it, if no then just get a new CD player.

Get a new cd player, its no use.. Bose = big money, little quality..

Had the same problem....used a cd lens cleaner (10 bucks max, radio shack, best buy has them) and wholla problem fixed. Good thing is if it doesnt work you can use it on your home audio....Good luck

Mine did it on a couple of recorded Cd's on computer, but not all of them. And sometimes if the car is very very hot, thanks to black interior, "CD err" would show up, but eventually it would go away
