Monster flow with resonator

Monster flow with resonator
Just installed my Monster Flow filter on my 99 SE with the stock resonator in place. I was going to go with the midpipe, but most think you loose on the low end and with an auto tranny I don't want any more lag than I have. I just let the filter sit in the bottom piece of the stock air box. Its kind of WAI with a little bit of cool air fed from the original snorkel coming from the radiator. Not sure if there are any gains, but it sounds like a race car at WOT! Makes passing the left lane hogs on my commute that much more satisfying!
Anyone have any idea how this compares to the K&N panel filter setup? Seems like it should breath a bit better.
