Opinions on 19's & springs please?

I just purchased some 19's for the whip & I need to get springs. I need suggestions on springs that will give a good drop(that looks good!) but won't be too harsh or have I asked for it by putting 19's on the car? I really don't care too much about the ride but I got a family & i don't want to kill them if we take my car. I purchased some 19in Fondmetal 9x from Discount Tire & I can't wait to put them on. Thanks for the responses.

if you want a drop that still looks stock, go with h&r. do what i did, and you can get progress springs for a 1.4" and 1.6" drop (f/r). the lowest springs you could look into would then be sprint springs which offer a 2" drop all around. all are great springs but be sure to get shocks at the same time because it will be bouncy but that is also a preference issue because what is bouncy to me may not be bouncy to you. the ride is not that bad on them because i too have an se. i have 19" katana kr7 on my page, but in them my ride is still high because the springs did not settle. you're going to hate the suv look for about a week or too. good luck. oh yea, i just found this out about 2 days ago but now i need to go and buy a racing jack because my ol djack can no longer fit under my car. that gives you and idea of how low progress springs will drop you. a stillen kit which i am going to purchase will also complete the look because i still feel it is too high.

don't want to kill the family then you need to get some H&R'S.

I've got the Progress springs with Illumina shocks, and I would say they are very comparalbe to H&R's in terms of ride comfort. I chose the Progress because they drop it just a little more.
