Two Things.. Good and Good

I posted last night about my CEL, turns out my fault. I got o2 sensor codes. we cleared the codes and all is well. turns out my being stupid and not really paying attention, i pulled the o2 fuse and fuel pump fuse and it shot a code out. all set with that..

now for the GOOD..

YEEE HAW!!!

am i getting myself to excited at this point? I am probably hyping myself up.. lol

yeah get 15' of header wrap for $15 and that'll cover the flex section nicely. smells for a lil while but that goes away.

I think I'm the only one with no hissing from my Budget. All I hear is air rushing through the pipes, a very raw sound. Only hissing I have is my intake which makes it sound like I have a leak somehwere...

Your local race shops will have it. It's popular to wrap headers and exhaust manifolds on bracket cars to reduce engine compartment heat, for cooler intake air and higher pressure exhaust. I bought a couple of 2"X50' rolls from JC Whitney online. Expensive stuff, $30+ a roll. I wrapped the whole Y pipe like the motorvateca.com guy did to his max. I wrapped the B pipe too, as there was factory insulation on the stock one to prevent heat from radiating toward the gas tank. Now to see how this stuff holds up to the test of time. I'm assuming it'll rot off after a couple of years of daily use!
