Going to track tonight, what VI setting to use?
I tried 5k last time, but it was too much of a changeover. You could hear it clearly. Its at 5100 now, and its nice and smooth. I have all of the codes wrote down for 5k, 5100, 5200, and 5300 so I might just use them all. All of you that go to the track alot which one helped you the most? Thanks, Wayne

Off to my shop to put on my stockers. 99 SE rims. Man does the max look low with these on, and they look so little too. Doesnt even look right. But oh well, not gonna go with the 19s on thats for sure 30+ lbs each!

RAINED OUT! sucks @ss...I also put a new fuel filter on today, it got rid of my hesitation i had on my 2-3 fast shifts...I got something good out of it. Ceasar...i thought you were going JWT ECU ? (and not G force)

Anyway, to keep this thread on topic, I dynoed and the optimum VI N/A activation point for my car was 5200 rpms. For my nitrous set up, it is 4700/4800 rpms.

If I set it for 5400rpms, it doesn't open till an indicated 5700-5800rpms most of the time. There seems to be a 200-400rpm delay most of the time. Mine is now set 5100rpms and seems to open at an indicated 5300-5400rpms. So that means the VI is opening at around 5100-5200 "true" rpms (accounting for tach error).

hasty choice really, and im finally fixing to get the g-force upgrade soon. sending it off this weekend. in the future i plan to have the jwt upgraded one, im just not willing to wait two months for it at present time. a local track is having midnight madness on the 18th and im trying to get the ecu back by then ..
